Abstract
O presente artigo pretende fazer algumas observações com respeito às novas formas de expressão feminina que vêm ocorrendo nas artes com consequências na vida social da atualidade. Para isso, uso como exemplo a obra textofotográfica de Gabriela Liffischitz, que lança uma nova maneira de se “olhar” e viver a corporalidade feminina. O artigo aproveita para também fazer uma aproximação explicativa entre a tradição científica com a atual “febre” de manipulação estética do corpo feminino.
