Proposta de indicador social para avaliar a política federal de educação profissional e tecnológica de nível superior no Estado de São Paulo

Abstract
Este artigo propõe a construção e o uso de um indicador social que permite avaliar a eficácia da política federal de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica de nível superior, em seu propósito de aproximar jovens estudantes de baixa renda dos arranjos produtivos locais. Em uma abordagem teórico-empírica, este estudo amplia nosso conhecimento sobre a avaliação de políticas públicas, o uso de indicadores sociais e sobre a política federal de Educação Profissional e Tecnológica. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um levantamento realizado com alunos matriculados em cursos de nível superior oferecidos pelo Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia de São Paulo.
