Insuflação pulmonar sustentada na assistência ventilatória de recém-nascidos pré-termo: Revisão integrativa de literatura

Abstract
Objetivo: Avaliar se a insuflação pulmonar sustentada possui maiores benefícios em relação à ventilação convencional e quais são os efeitos causados pela técnica nos lactentes. Metodologia: O estudo foi conduzido a partir do método de Revisão Integrativa de Literatura, com pesquisa realizada nas bases de dados Literatura Latino-americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde, Medical Literature Analysis and Retrieval System Online, National library of medicine and the National Institutes Heath e Science Direct. Foram selecionados ensaios controlados de 2010 a 2019 utilizando os Descritores em Ciências da Saúde: “neonatology” and “ventilation” and “inflation”. Resultados: Após a realização da pesquisa foram identificados 410 artigos e quando aplicados os critérios de inclusão e exclusão estabelecidos elegeram-se sete publicações que foram categorizadas evidenciando os benefícios, riscos e efeitos identificados com a aplicação da técnica. Conclusão: Concluiu-se com a análise das publicações que a inflação sustentada permanece como uma técnica controversa, possibilitando em alguns casos benefícios e em outros malefícios, por isso, a temática requer mais estudos elucidativos.
