Dificuldades no Processo de Alfabetização: Uma Questão Metodológica

Abstract
O objetivo desta pesquisa foi investigar o papel da variável metodológica em crianças que apresentaram dificuldades na fase inicial do processo de aquisição da escrita.Trata-se de uma proposta de intervenção, desenvolvida em uma escola pública, com crianças participantes de um grupo de reforço, utilizando, ao invés do método global adotado pela escola, uma metodologia alternativa que partisse das partes para o todo, o método fônico. Dentre os resultados obtidos, alguns merecem destaque: a) o material adotado deve ser considerado apenas uma das variáveis do processo pedagógico, no qual a atuação do professor e o apoio da equipe escolar têm um papel importantíssimo; b) o grupo de alunos que freqüentou regularmente o reforço escolar conseguiu superar grande parte das dificuldades inicialmente diagnosticadas.
